Quadrille parties are not in favour at present. Circulars were distributed lately containing the pressing and original request, "We beg the pleasure of the pi-ivilege," and yet folks did not attend... Poor Tom ! we -won't have him long...Gr. had his billet-doux returned, but not by the Dead Letter Office. Be careful, young man !
