•No. 28. — The Whitaker Ministry! The subject of our cartoon this week is theWhitaker Ministry. One or two of the likenessesare not as minutely faithful as we could wish, but they are generally accurate," and most of the group life-like, as wiR be readily admitted by those persons to whom the faces are familiar. We shall continue to introduce other attractive' pictures and novelties to render the OBSERVERacceptable to our readers for whose ever-increasing support we'are duly grateful. Our last issue wascompletely sold out to runners and agents' early on Eriday forenoon, and many readers who hoped' to obtain copies at the office were disappointed. We have printed an extra number this week which we hope will meet the extended demand.
