Tickets for their respective numbers to be drawn by the Ploughmen, on the Field, at 9 o'clock a.m. Commence at 9.30 sharp. 2. The lots will be all numbered, and pegged at each corner, the numbers in each class commencing from the Flag. 3. The Ploughman will be permitted to have any as - sistance in setting up his Poles, the Poles to be set upon both lands before starting, the right-hand ridge to be ploughed first ; no assistance after starting. 4. The land to be ploughed in two complete ridges ; quantity— Single-furrow, nalf-an-acre ; Double-furrow, one acre ; time, five hours. 5. The Furrow to be 5 inches. 6. The Gun for starting will be fired at 9.30 a.m., and for finishing at 2.30 p.m. Any Ploughman who has not then completed his work will be disqualified. j 7.
