We planted in December, after our Early Kidneys, 5 acres of Carrots, which are estimated to yield qxiite 30 tons to the acre ; with this crop we used 6cwt. No. 2 Manure, and one i acre, of Sorghum, receiving the same treatment, has r yielded more than 25 tons of cane. This land has grown three previous Eoot Crops in succession. We have also 4 acres of Swede Turnips that will average 40 tons, the result of the same Manure. Anone interested may now ( see the crops in question and satisfy themselves.
