Ladies take a warning and steel your hearts. Ask Willie H. what happened at the barrier on the main road. He will be delighted to gratify your curiosity. Who is that economical young lady who fixes her eyes on the floor when dancing, keeping a watchful look out for stray pins ? Everybody here is pleased to hear that Norman F . is recovering from his recent accident . Gorman is a general favourite here — particularly with the ladies. . John McC, of the Paddock, is said to be dangerously affected with a weakness for a certain dashing young damsel who resides not many miles from the local educational institution.
