Re late cricketing fracas. W. L. finds a warm champion in Miss M. " Snaw" wants to know by whom was W. D.'s commission as captain oh Patrick's Day signed ? Poor Bob ! a walk six miles to play cricket and then find the match postponed, but I suppose smile compensated for all the trouble. ' It is reported that on the next visit of the Australian .Eleven the "Whau United" will be :asked to supply umpires for the Auckland team.
