WAIUKU.

Miss O'Connor is busily engaged preparing for her concert, which is to take place next week at the Mauku, and on the following week at Waiuku. Our primo lasso, Mr G-reen, is in splendid form, so they all say, his. song, "My "Voice is here," will no doubt call for an encore.

We are-promised a treat. Mrs Thompson's pupils are busy practising for their concert which is to be a free one, and in that case must prove a success. The Misses Mexinan take a prominent part. I am at a loss to know why our leading citizens indulge in a dip in the dirty creek of Waiuku every morning j it surely cannot be from motives of cleanliness.
