TITIRANGI.
Mr William Bishop's dance was well attended, about fifty persons being present. The music — supplied by the three brothers Ringrose (of the Whau) and. Mr Elliott (of Henderson's Mill) — was the best ever produced at Titirangi. Mr E. McGf-ee made an efficient M.C., bnt then Ted, you know, is an old stager at it. Mrs Pugh well and ably attended to the refreshment department, and her patience was greatly tried, for the demands came fast and furious. The dancing was kept tip with great spirit till daylight appeared, and the party broke up well pleased with the evening's amusement, and wishing their host might come of age once a year. Among the ladies present Miss Chambers was undoubtedly the belle of the ball. Miss Bishop, Miss C. Pugh, and Miss Forsyth danced divinely, and Messrs Forsyth, McG-ee, and Bishop also shewed themselves proficient in that art.
