The tickets for Bridge's Victorian Art Union are going off rapidly, and persons desirous of investing should apply early, as the list will shortly be closed. This day (Friday) Messrs E. and A. Isaacs, Esq., will sell, at the offices of the Auckland Harbour Board, the right of collecting tolls and weighbridge fee upon the Queen-street and Railway wharves for one year. Sale commences at 11 o'clock a.m. Tlie Hobson-street denizens are delighted they have got what they wanted at last. Messrs Mtinro and Milfigan have opened in that street and now all the neighbourhood are going fo gooi clothes on the deferred payment system.
