Lewisson, for having the largest assorted and cheapest stock of all goods in his line, should be visited before purchasing elsewhere. — [Advt.] When the police discovered the three dray loads the other day of stolen property, they did not discover the large amount of electro-plated goods, gold and silver watches, jewellery for wedding presents and other articles that were not stolen from Mr Singleton, shop corner of Hobson and Victoria-street. — The chief feature at Hone Werahiko's wedding feast was the " burying of the hatchet " between Messsrs James Mackay and Alex. Brodie. The way these two gentleman beslobbered each other was equal to the hardest nose-rubbing by the most conservative Maori rangitira present.
