Conditions.

Entrance fee to be forwarded with nomination and colours, age and pedigree of horse, addressed to the Secretary, Post-office, Cambridge, or Mr William Percival, Auckland, not later than Thursday, the Bth September, 1881. Weights will appear in Auckland and Waikato papers, Wednesday, 14th September, 1881, with the exception of Stewards' Handicap, which will be declared immediately after Spring Cup is run' for. Acceptance money payable to the Secretary, or Mr Percival, by Saturday, the 17th September, 1881, at 8 p.m. Acceptance for Stewards' Handicap will he received up to half-an-hour before the race. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. No entry will be received except iipon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of soys., which will be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious; The rules of the Auckland Racing Club will be strictly adhered to. Ten per cent, from prizes in each event will be deducted for second horse.
