The undersigned have been favoured with instructions from The New Zealand Land Corporation (Limited) to otter by public auction at their Sale Rooms, the Strand, on Monday, the 7th March, 1881, STEWARTSTOWN, on the Te Puke Block, Bay of Plenty district. Stewartstown is splendidly situated in the centre of the Block, on the main line of road to the Hot Lake district, and with. in 12 miles of of the town and port of Taurauga. The Te Puke Block, from its position and the superior quality of its soil, bids fair to shortly become one of the most Nourishing districts of the North Island, and will form the centre of a very large area of magnificent country now being negotiated for, and which will ere longbe open for settlement. It is contemplated shortly to connect Stewartstown with the Port of Tauranga by a Steam Tramway.Plans of the Township will shortly be ready for distribution.
