INCREASED FRICE OF COAL
Deficency Estimated at £46,600,000 (A. and N.Z. Oaible.) j LONDON, July 12 The Board of Trade's white paper \ explaining the increase of 6 S a. ton ' in, the price of coal, states that the j estimated deficiency on the working of the coal industry for the year from July 16th this year willY be £46,600,000. The year's outputi is estimated at ' 217,000,000 tons, less 18,000,000 tons for consumption at 'the collieries, 6,000,000 for the. -use of the miners, 32,000,000 for bunkea-s and export, !lea,ving 161,000,000! over which the deficiency will be spread. j
