An apology was received from Mr. Bush, who was ouib of the district. CORRESPONDENCE. , • The following correspondence was received: ' From District Health Officer, Auckland, in'answer to Board's request to visit the Hospital, saying he would be pleased to pay a. visit. ' Mr. MaCowxiick said thjat the officer 'was pleased "to see the hospital so ; well equipped, and was- very satisl--fied with* the working, when on. his recent visit. From the Inspeeitor-Generail of Hospitals, in connection with the erection of, 'the new nurses home ait the hospital, asking if the work had ibeeni cioornimenced. The matter of reply was left on the hands of the chairmam and secretary.----j The chairman remarked' that for ' £200 the old High School had been made quite a mansion. j Mrl. Robinson: If they were as prompt with epidemic accouoiits, it would' be tioi their credit. From .secretary Public.
