The owner of this claim, a hatter, seemed pretty san- ■ guine of the results, a neighbourirag claim having yielded 4§oz&. to the ton. A very nice parcel of gold was lodged all tihe Bank of New Zealand this from the Central Italy miiine, the total weight, 'being 2'6sozs. from 165 tons of stone. Splendid gold came to hand yesterday from tihe. low levels. A very favourable change has come over the 'appearance of the leader in. the Cure Mine, every mineral; indicating the neighbourhood of .payable gold being present.
