Edward John Rliddifordi, one of the wealthiest settlers in the Dominion, died at Longburn yesiterd'ay, ageid 68. ET-e was the first child baptised in NW Zealand \y Bishop iSlalwyn, and is reputed to have been the biggest <rradiiate|d landl tiilx ccntrfbuitor in the Dominion, ffo Irares- threta sons and three daughters, one other, son having diited a month ago.
