A sesriea of ibiurglariesi ha,ve been committedl at Mlastetrton since Saturday night. Three shops were broken into andl goods tafcen. In one the thief lc-Wereld! himself through the skylight by a numlbed of saddlestoraps, and took knivtis and 'razors. Ho broke the plate glass of a con-fac-tioner's window' and toot between .£1 and £3 worth of goods. He also , entei-ed a dlnxper's sihiop, tot it is not known what quantity of g!o<jds were taken.
Subpilcion points to a: boy, who was summoned on Saturday on a charge of theft of a bicycle, and who has since disappeared.
