Clouds largely spoiled the view of the Government Solar Eclipse Party stationed at /Barnajagui. The sun was hidden from its rising to twenty minutes after the termination of the computed total phase. ■
Tlie long vigil was partially compensated by the magnificent aloud effects, oxciellfc'rnt photos of which were obtained.
As tlid eclipse proceiedied the thermometer fell from 56deg\ to 50deg-.
