The Cihief Justk® (Sir Ei*b. -Stout) will:pioc'eied! to Ria.ratonga, in June to try a charge; of murder of a native preferred against Wl J. Wigtnoro, a reisidient of the island. Mr Ostler, the Grown Proseidutor at Wellington, will proceed' there to conduct the case for the Crown.
Sir R. Stout while at Riaratongu will look into the charges recently made against the local Administration. The nature of the enquiry will bfef left to Sir Robert Strut's discretion.
