— m — PROPRIETOR ARRE&TEiD. CHARGED WITH FEIAUD. (Per United Press Assooiation ) LONDON, April 25. Clarpenter, the pi'oprietor of the Charing Oros&i B'anlc, is being charged with obtaining £500 two days before his. bankruptcy by means of alleged false prospectus. The prosecution stated' that there were 18,966 croditoirs. The accused' has been remanded on bail of £10,----000, the bail being forthcoming.
