A fatal drowning accident occurred in the harbor to-day off Petone. Two boys, Darned Joseph Dodd and Charles Styles, aged 13 and 17 years respectively, were out in a dingy when the boat capsized. Dodd was drowned and Styles rescued, but by what means no information has yet been received. Dodd's body was recovered shortly afterwards.
This day. In compliance with the request of the Minister, Te Zooti has decided not to risit Porerty Bay.
