Training Notes.
Auckland, This day. There was a cold bracing wind blowing at Ellerslie this morning, which made things ratber unpleasant for training, i Stoneyhurst; and Nelson went twice | round, the first part of the journey being done at a medium pace, bat coming home i fast, and Nelson appeared to be able to stick to his companion. Waitiri went twice round slow and Christina did similar j work. Woodnymph, with Revolver for a companion, went once round slow, and was then picked up by Contractor, the pair coming home fast. Libeller and Tetford went the Cup distance in company, while Foul Shot accomplished the samo journey alone at a fair pace. Tas* man and Wapiti put in a fast once round, and Turquoise, Eadames, Necklace, and Derringer (in clothing) cantered. Maccar on i, Lionel, Medico, and Salvage did serviceable work; and Kingask was schooled over the hurdles, but he showed a disinclination to jump. Capsize and Alpine Hose merely did walking exercise.
This day.
