Waiorongomai Mining.
New Find.—The reef in the various workings, is looking as well as usual, but there is no change to report. Good progress is being made in the rise from tho low level at the junction of the foot and hangingwall branohes of the reef. When it is through to the level above, this rise will open up a large block of ground from which excellent returns maybe expected for some time to come.
Colonist.—The usual stoping operations are being carried on, and the output of quartz is sufficiently large to keep ten head of stampers steadily employed. A fair average yield is likely to be obtained from the stuff now in process of treat* ment.
Waiobongomai.—Work it at present confined to the No. 1 reef in the Pro* riocial section of the Company's ground. From this reef a crushing of 32 trucks has just been put through at the batter/, and has giren a payable return, thossh the exact jield will not be to b,4>4 fßti)
