POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE HOLIDAYS.

Arrangements will be made in this District for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day as follows:— Postal Branch.—Christmas Day and New Year's D*y Post Offices will be closed. Mais usually despatched on those days will be made up the previous evenings at 7 o'clock On evenings of 24th and 31st inst., a delivery of town letters will be made over, the counter from 7 to 8 o'clock as usual. On Boxing Day (26th inst), Post Offices will he open in all branches from 9 to 10 a.m., and mails received and dc spatched as usual An early delivery by lettercarrrier will be made commencing at 8 a.m. On Christmas Day and New Year's Day the private box lobbies will be open from 9 to 10 a.m., and 7to 8 p.m., and on Boxing Day during usuai hoars.
