The regular monthly cleaning up and retorting for this company took place today for the good payable return of 1750zs gold, which was reduced on melting to 1710z9 6dwts. Cleaning up for this company took place to-day for the return of 90ozs gold. WAIOTAHI. Cleaning up for this company takes place on Monday, when a payable return is expected. It has been decided to sink the shaft another level, and as soon as the necessary preparations for the work are finisheJ, which will be about the end of next week, sinking operations will be commenced. NEW EUREKA (OTUNUL) Cleaning up for this company took place to day for the good return of 1660zs lOdwts melted gold, being the product of about 120 tons of general dirt. The yield is a very satisfactory one, and enables the company to pay off the remainder of its overdraft, so that it is expected that the mine will soon be in a dividend paying position. Kubantji Hill.—Tonkin and party's crushing produced 4ozs 16dwts gold.— Bestic and party, tributers, have crushed a parcel of quartz for 31ozs 16dwts gold. Ivanhoe (Karangahake).—A parcel of 34ozs 18dwts gold was banked from this mine to-day as the result of a crushing of general dirt.
