Mklboubne, Yesterday. Seven jockeys are now in the Hospitel suffering from the effects of Saturday's accident. Winchester was not injured, and was out on the training ground as usual this morning,
The settling on the Caul field meeting to-day shows that the ring hare been hit to the extent of £50,000. Mat O'Shan* nasay woo £5000 in one line from Alfred Josephs. The V.B-.0. Derby betting is as follows: —Nordenfeldr, 100 to SO (taken); Isonomy, 100 to 30 (off); First Chester, 100 to 15 (taken); Thunderbolt, 100 to 12 (off). Melbourne Cup quotations—loo to 8 offered against the field. Trenton and Sheet Anchor are the favorites. Brown and Itose has been backed for £5000 at 100's to 4. Cracknell and McGrath, the injured jockeys, now show more favorable symptoms. _______
