Tote was ' reduced by £500, which was carried. Harbor works, Hokitika, £1500, and Armed Constabulary field force, £25,000, were Ci^ried. The other amounts under the heading of Unauthorised Expenditure were agreed to without discussion. The Property Tax Bill was read a third and passed.—The Costley Training Institution Bill was ctifcmutted, read a third time, and passed.—Sir J. Vogel introduced an Appropriation Bill and the Immigration and Public Works and Appropriation Bill, which were read* a first time.—The House then rose until Monday at 10 a.m.
