This day. The Tarringl Case. Tbe Hutt tarriog case came on again yjbe B f M. Court this morning, when

William Dap son (of the firm of Dawson and Co., ironmongers) was examined, but his evidence was unimportant. George Irons, partner in the firm, deposed that during the last month a pair of handcuffs was sold by his firm, of which there was an entry in the sales book, giving the name of the purohaser. the entry being mode by Connal. Witness never saw Mr Waters in the shop. The tar brush (produced) was the same as those in witness's stock, but would not swear it was pur« chased from them. MrTravers intimated that he intended to submit the tar brush to Mr Skey, analyst, for the purpose of removing the tar on the handle, to ascertain if there were any private marks on it. The case was adjourned until 2 p.m , when Connal, salesman at Dawson's, will be examined as to who purchased the; handcuffs.
