Prospecting in the King Country
(Pbb Pjress Absocia.iojO. Wakgai«l!i, Yesterday. Newt bat been received here from Kihikihi that Mr G. T. Wilkinson, native agent, has stopped the Wanganui prospectors from going to 'Johns, and has persuaded the natives to do with the Thames men. Mr Wilkinson says that the Wanganni party are not practical miners. The Association here bare communicated with the Government, complaining of Mr Wilkinson's interference, and stating that both men are well-known to be practical and long experienced mitttn. ' ' '
