DABWIN. Tbe reef in tho drireat No. 3 lerel was broken down to-day, when colon of gold were seen pretty freely in tbe quartz. The reef carries tome favorable minerals, while the oonntry continues of an excel* lent class of sandstone. NEW ALBUBNIA. The reef in the winze in progress on the Success lode was broken down yesterday for tbe first |time since the winze was commenced. It is about 3ft. thick in the bottom, but is divided into two branches by a horse of mullock. The quarts carries some nice minerals, and colors of gold were seen pretty freely, while fa little pioked stone was also secured. CALEDONIAN LOW LEVEL. A mass of stringers about 18 inches wide has been passed through in the south erossoat. The quartz is of a rery kindly nataro for gold. MAKTHA EXTENDED (WAIHI), The manager to-day banked 2030zs retorted gold, which was reduced on melting to SOOozs 18dwts, as the result of abeut fire weeks' crushing. • GOLD BETDBNB. ; Oib WHiu.—Foster and party bare banked sozs 18dwts gold.
