This day. In the Divorce Court in the case of Gole t. Cole and Watson (Palmerston North), a decree absolute was granted. In the case of McFadgeon v. Fadgeon (Kaikora), the wife was petitioner, and the case was settled out of Court by the husband granting his^wife alimony.
Sudden DeathMr Helps, auctioneer, has died suddenly at Alexandra. In the Supreme Court, Judge Gillies intimated it as his opinion that the Board of Education wrongfully paid £200 to its late Inspector Peacooke, instead of to the Official Assignee, but he reserved bis formal decision.
