This day. A small tradesman named Paul Victor was caught early this morning making bis exit from the back of Messrs Bauner and Liddle's auction rooms. For a long time various articles have been missed from these premises, and the police were consequently set to watch. On searching Victor's house, ife was found fully stocked with stolen goods, amongst o'her things being 20 large framed pictures, several kerosene lamps, cigars, crockery, silver watch, chains, drapery, lollies, candles, etc. When caught, he was coolly carrying a lamp in each hand.
