Sporting SPORTING KEWS. £4000.-320 Cash Prizes. »-TENTH GRAND HAMBURG DRAWING ISJQW OPEN. To a Purchaser of 25 Programmes one will be given Gratis. g^BOM the undoubted popularity and great £.' success these drawings have obtained, tho promoters are enabled to brifiq; them before the public every two month. Although this Company has a large number of Horse Consultationiats (about 'thirty) to contend against, some of whom under fictitious names have been mean enough to do their utmost to try and injure the promoters of the Hamburg Company; they cannot do so, as this Company is too well established and favorably kno~n with the public all through New Zealand. The large number of oppHcstions'that came in too late will be registered in the tenth drawing; or, if the applicant wishes, the money vill be returned. The Tenth Grand Drawing for £4000 will close the ertd of AUGUST, and the Eleventh Hamburg Drawing will Open on the Ist SEPTEMBER. j The Tenth Grand Drawing will consist of 320 Mohbt Pbizbs, amounting to £4000, subscribed by 8000 members at lOi each. The various Moffßy Pbizbs will be distributed hs follows:— 1 £300 PEIZB 15 £25 PRIZES 1 £200 PRIZE 15 £20 PRIZES 1 £100 PRIZE 15 £15 PRIZES 2 £50 PRIZES 160 £10 PRIZES 10 £30 PRIZES 100 £5 PRIZES Totai Amottnt, £4000. 320 Monbt Phizes. To a Purchaser of 25 Programmes one will be given Gratis. The Grand principle of these Hamburg Drawings is that a purchaser of 25 Programmes is guaranteed a Peize, and the chances art in favor of the investor drawing a lahge Pbize, as there are 220 I1A.B&B Peizes to 100 small ones. To an investor of £2 the chances are only 6 to 1 againet him drawing a prize, end the Head Peize or any other may be drawn by an investor of 10s. Read This. —In Boaz's Grand Hamburg Drawings the greatest odds are only 25 to 1 againßt an investor of 10s drawing a prize. But carefully note the enormous odds against investors drewing a Horse or Cash Prize in any of the Horse Consultations. The marbles are replaced for each Drawing of the Cash Phizes, which give the enonxov.s odds against investors. This Company would simply ask investors to calculate the odds before placing their investments in any horse consultations 5 and this Company would not presume to tell the public that they have a number of chances and may win a number of prizes for a single investment of 10s. NOTE.—-Prize Winners, whether winning large or small prizes are informed that their names will not'be made public without their written consent. This Tenth Grand Driving for £4000 wil take place under the supervision of a committee of eight subscribers, and the prizes will be paid over as early as possible after the drawing.
