The mail steamer is expected from 'Frisco on the 22nd inst., having left at time table date. . Mr LaMbnte has sent Mr Winter from Sydney to assist in the erection of the furnace at the Thames. Typhoid fever has appeared in the South Ward. • Representatives from all denominations were present at the funeral of the late Rev. McKenzie Fraser yesterday afternoon, and the address by the Bey. Mr Carrick was eloquent. The Customs receipts yesterday were £1400. At a meeting of the Saxon G.M.Co., held yesterday afternoon, Mr F. James was appointed manager of the mine, and a call of 3d per share was made. Cambrias this morning are worth 22s ; Ivanhoe's, 6s.
