[Reuteb's Telegrams.] London, August 10. Depression of Trade. The Boyal Commission, which was appointed to enquire into the causes of the present depression of trade in Great Britain has commenced its labors under the Presidency of the.Earl of Iddesleigh (Sir Stafford Northcote). The majority of the members of the Commission hold Tiews farorable to what is known as fair trade, namely, a sjstem of international reciprocity, free trade being allowed to those countries only which admit English produce on tbe sajac tprpis.
