London, July 24.

It is announced that the marriage of the Princess Beatrice will be solemnised at Whippingham Church. The Queen will gi?« the bride away. Preparations are being made for a great public rejoicing on the occasion.

In the House of Commons last night an amendment, which was introduced by M. J. Collings, M.P. for Ipswich, into the Medical Eelief Bill, came on for discus-' aion, and was carried by a large majority, in spite of the opposition of the Government. Sir M. Hicks-Beach thereupon declared that he declined to be further answerable for the bill in its present shape. The Queen has been pleased to bestow the Order of the Garter npon Prince Henry of Battenberg.

July 23. The revised Budget, introduced by Sir M. Hicks>Beach, Chancellor of the Hr.chequer, was adopted to night by ifee House of Commons.
