LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Wellington, Yesterday. In the Legislative Council, Mr Bichmond moved the second reading of tfce Employment of Females and Others Act Amendment Bill. After discussion, the bill was thrown oat by 21 to 24.—The Gaming and Lotteries Act Amendment Bill was read a second time, and the Council adjourned at 450 p m.
