County Council HIGH LEVEL WATER RACE SPECIAL RATING DISTRICT. COUNTF OF~THAMES. PROPOSAL TO RAISE SPECIAL LOAN. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that a POLL of the Ratepayers of the above* named District will be taken to determine if or not the following Proposal shall be carried ont.:— 1. To make and maintain a High Level Water Race, commencing at the Puru Stream, in t- c Hastings Riding, and terminating at the Waiotabi Creek, near Grabamstown, as shown on the plan deposited in the County Offices, Mary street, Thames. 2. The sum proposed to.be borrowed for such purpose is six thousand three hundred pounds. 3. The security proposed to be giren to pay the interest, and provide a Sinking Fund for the repayment of such loan, is a Separate Rate of Six Farthings in the £, to be imposed and levied on the High Level Water Race Special Rating District. Such Poll will be taken on SATURDAY, the eighteenth d*y of July instant, between the hours of nine a.m. and six p.m. The Polling Booth will be at the residence of Mr Hinbx Ciinkeb, Waiotahi Creek, near Grabamstown.
