This day.
A case of suicide occurred last night. It appears that a young woman named Alice Barnaby, aged 22 yeari, engaged as a domestic servant in a restaurant in town, yesterday afternoon purchased at a chemists a box of "Rough on Rats," and swallowed two doses. Medical aid was summoned,' and she was brought round about nine o'clock last night; subsequently, however, she commenced to sink, and died at 3 this morning. No cause was assigned.
