— FIRST PRIZH A.A. and P.A. EXHIBITION 1883. — £1,0.00 BEWARD.—Caution. Ask for Hitchens's Blood Restorer, THE GEEAT NEW ZEALAND* EEMEDY FOR CLEANSING, PURIFYING, AND INYIC OIIATING THE BLOOD.

THE Prop.\etor, in explaining why he has not for gome time pushed the gale of the above, 1 would state that he received such a eerioua check by the disssti'ous fire which destroyed t coetly appliances and a megnificent stock of prepared herbs (recently iepluced), and h» bu not therefore been in a position to como before the public. He has not been able to satisfy 'i all the local and foreign deasands, and was unable to administer as extensively ea he could \ have desired to the wanls of a suffering world. MR HI'IOREKS *b now happy <o statr. ! that he is once aguin in & position to eupp'y this heahh-giving Medicine, 'which he is con- ' vineed will, " with the blessing of God," cure alruoet any disorder, owifg to its irresistible yet geiitla operation. In coming before the public and planting his standard once more on the ramparts of the great enemy of mankind—i.e., sickness—be trusts that an overruling Providence will bless his future efforts to mitigate the physical woes of man. In this even* ing's Stab appear a few of the hundreds of testimonials received by Mr Hitchens, one of which is from one of Auckland's best known citizens. It requires no further comment than to say that bis illness was of a mo«t severe type, baffling the skill of medical men, while other infallible remedies were tried without the slightest change for the better. Here is what Captain FABfrniAß says of fIITOHENS' BLOOD RESTORER:— Anckland, October 15, 1883. —Dear Sir, —For twelve months I suffered severely irom sciatica, and tried various remedies, without avail, and as a last resource I was recommended fco give your Blood Restorer a trial, which I did, and I have much pleasure in testifying that - after taking it for three months I completely recovered my health. I may say I had no faith • in it at first, but the result w&s such a thorough cure that I consider ifc my duty to acknowledge, unsolicited, its curative powers.—l am, Sir, faithfully yours,' W. Fabqchab, Mute* Mariner,.Ponsonby.—To H. A. K. Hitchens, Esq. *"*"'

The Proprietor would here intimate that £1,000 will be forfeited to any Charitable Institution if the good done by his Medicine has been over estimated. ] The Proprietor is prepared to meet on a public platform any perßonß wbp dispute the veracity of testimonials, and he will undertake to prove the genuineness of the curei effected. He is also ■willing to meet in public the medical gentlemen who have attfr.ded the patient! and have pronounced them incurable, and answer questions put relative to the facts of the cases quoted. Medical men's names have, from motives of consideration, been excluded from all testimonials, but then perßonal acknowledement would add increased brilliancy to the .- iaxe of the medicine. ; Mr AxEX. Eas-ietoh, Hairdresser, of Queen street, Auckland, euffeied with t> paralysed arm, with every indication of the disease spreading through the body. The doctor* pronounced the case Jiopeless", and friends believed his end was drawing near, when he wai induced to give Hitchens's Blood Restorer a trial, the result being an immeoiate chance for the better j and on continuing to take the medicine, ho was completely restored to health and strength. .: ; ; Mr D. E. Ohishoxm, Agent for Ms HITOHBHB.—-Dear Sir,—lt is with heartfelt thanks I am able to endorse the sterling qualities of Mr Hi tchens's invaluable Blood Restorer. Being induced by Mr Bisher, who ' spoke in eulogistic-forms of Us merits, to place mj wife (who was suffering very acutely with Rheumatio Fever) under its treatment, I am very happy to state the medicine has acted quite magically. After a few doses pain entirely ceased, and the is" making rapid- progress, and is now enabled to resume her household duties. Acting so beneficially, I would not be without such a valuable remedy, and should impress upon these who are similarly suffering not to overlook this specific, which is inestimable.—Believe me, yours very sincerely, THOMAB BRCWK, Brittania Heights, Nelson. Maraiti (near Howick), Auckland, 17th August, 1882. To H. A. H. Hitcheks.—Sir,—l had been for five years suffering from an ulcerated leg, and after being twice under treatment in the Auckland Hospital, without any improvement, I was induced to give your blood restorer a trial, and am proud to say after four bottles and the übb of your Ointment, I became quite well. Please accept my warmest thanks, and give this what publicity you wish, that others may benefit thereby.—Yours, most resDectfullT. CHARLES MORGUN, Maraiti. _ J> , Sheridan street, off Wellington street, Auckland, Dec. 1,1882. Mb Hitchbbs.—Dear Sir,—As you have asked me to describe my state at the time Mr : McMillan recommended me to use your Blood Restorer, and the effect it had on me, I will simply say that whether it was Lumbago, Sciatica, or Paralysis that made me co helpless, I do not know; but, at any rate, I was unable to stand for nine months, and had to be lifted like a baby, and my taßte wbb entirely gone. Dr said I had an affection of the spine, and that I should never have the use of my limbs again. He brought another tnedical man to see me, and I was told that / would probably live only a short time, audit teas no use of their out, false hopes. I thanked them, and felt as they did. Mr McMillan, living opposite, inquired what wbb the matter, and my husband told him. He at once said, "Let her take Mr Hitchen's Blood Restorer, for I believe that will put her all right." I did so, and after using the third bottle in the third week, I began to feela change, and a tingling sensation in my limbs. Every subsequent bottle seemed to be doing me more good. The result is that after, using eight bottles, lam now quite well, do my own washing, and all the housework, and feel quite as well as when I first came to JNew Zealand five year* ago. I am always happy to tell people the good you did urn, for lam sure I should not now be well and hearty, but most likely in my grave, if I bad not put myself in your hands. —I am, dear eir, yours faithfully, ILORA KICOL. Witness—HENßY HARTMOLL. Nelson street. I have much pleasure in testifying to the perfect accuracy of the above statement.—-N. MoMILLAN, Vulcan Lane, Auckland.

As a remedy of general utility, wo much question whether a better is imported into the country, and we shall be glad to hear of its finding a place in every Anglo-Indian home.
