Melbourne, Yesterday. The Union Co.'s s.s. Tarawera sailed this evening for the Bluff, and the same company's s.s. Waihora arrived from the Bluff this morning. , The examination of the prisoners in custody for the Simpson's road bank robbery was continued to day. The witness Yates, who has turned Queen's evidence, gave his testimony. He stated that it was he who drove the cart in which were contained the proceeds of the robbery, and furnished the Court with full details of the manner in which the crime was conceived and carried out. Intelligence to band reports that the barque Mars, 487 tons, in ballast, from Melbourne on June 4th, was totally wrecked off the South Australian coast on the eleventh of June. Capt. Pringle with the pilot and two of the crew were drowned.
