NOTICE is therefore giren that on MONDAY, the twentioth day of July, 1885, a License will be granted to the suid R. K. A PPLIOATION has been made by XJL John McCombie for B.K.Davis, for permission to construct a Water Bace for mining purposes, commencing at h point on the Waitawbeta Biyer, at the Hauraki Dam, and terminating at a point near to his proposed Machine Site, as shown on the sketch plan thereof, deposited in the Warden's Office. The length of such Bace is about fifty chains, and its intended course is north-west. The mean depth and breadth of such Bace ia _—; it is capable of carrying six sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads, of forty inches each, which it is proposed to appropriate, is six. NOTICE is therefore given that on the twentieth day of July, 1885, a License will be granted to the eaid R. K. Datis for the said Water Race unless valid objection thereto be in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at this Office, not Ices than seven clear days before that date. Habet Kenbick, Warden.
