The length of such Race is about fifty chains, and its intended course is north-west. The mean depth and breadth of such Race i s _—____ ; it is capable of carrying six. sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads, of forty inches each, which it is proposed to appropriate, is six. Shepherd for permission to construct a Water Race for mining purposes^ commencing at a point about half a chain below the crossing of the County track over the creek known as Noble's, and terminating at about one chain from Me James Riddle's house, as shown on plan. The length of such Race is nine (9) chains fluming and four chains of piping, or thereabouts, and its intended course is from point of receiving around side of hill and thence down to flat. The main breath and depth of such a Race is 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep ; it is capable of carrying one sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of forty-inib.es each, which it is proposed to appropriate is one. ...■NOTICE is therefore given, that on the twentieth day of July, 1885, a License will be granted to the said Henby M.
