Adelaide, Yesterday. Shocking Tragedy.
A shocking tragedy took place here yesterday. A man named Bines shot bis wife and her paramour, killing them both. He then shot himself dead.
The following items of Mauritius commercial news are taken from Ireland, Eraser, and Co.'s circular, to" hand per Messagerie's steamer Caledonia, which arrived this morning :—Mauritius, May 28th. The total yield of new season's crop is estimated at 100,000 to 110,000 tons. The month's clearances for New Zealand ports are—Dunedin 300, and Wellington 200 tons. The total exports to New Zealand during the season have been 8000 ton?, and the stock now in hand is 170.000 tons.
