Mr Stout said that it having been represented to the Government by the member for Waitotara that it would be more convenient to the House generally if the Addresa-in-Reply was not considered till Tuesday, he desired to move that the tttotiou be adjourned till Tueiday ut»jt.
Ho understood that the mover of tho Address (Mr Pearson) was qtiito willing that this course should be adopted.-—Mr Bryce said, as far as he was personally concerned, he should prefer that the motion be allowed to proceed, but he thought thnt in justice to absent members it would be hardly fair to consider the Address-in Beply. After some further discussion, the House adjourned at 3 p.m. till Tuesday next.
