Medical / — FIBST PRIZE A.A. and P.A, EXHIBITION 1883. — £1,000 REWARD.—Caution. | Ask for Hitchens's Blood Restorer, THE GREAT NEW ZEALAND REMEDY FOR CLEANSING, PURIFYING, AND INVIGORATING THE BLOOD. mHE Proprietor, in explaining why he hat not for tome time pushed the sale of the above, JL \,ould etate that he received eueh a serious check by the disastrous fire which destroyed costly appliances and a magnificent stock of prepared herhß (recently replaced), and he has' not therefore beeu in a position to come before Ihe public. He has not been able te satisfy all the local arid foreign demands, and was unable to odtr.'inistor ns extensively as he could have deajred to the wants of a Buffering world. ME, HIICHENS is now happy to state that lie is once again iv a position to eupply this hcaUh-giting Medicine, which be is con- . vinced wii], "\iith the blessing of God," cure almost any disorder, owing to its irresistible • yet gentle operation. In coming before the public and planting his standard once more on , the ramparts of the great enemy of mankind—i.*., sickness—he trusts that an overruling Providence will bless his future efforts to mitigate the physical woes of man. In this evening's Stab appear a few of the hundreds of testimonials received by Mr Hitchem, one of which is from one of Auckland's best known citizens. It requires no further comment than to say that his illness was of a most severe type, baffling the skill of medical men, while other infallible remedies were tried without the slightest change for the better.- Hers is what Captain Farqtthab saya of fUTOHBNS' BLOOD BESTOBER s— Anckland, October 15, 1883.—Dear Sir, —For twelve months I suffered severely from sciatica, and tried various remedies, without avail, and as a last resource I was recommended to give your Blood Bestorer a trial, which I did, and I have much pleasure in testifying that after taking it for three months I completely recovered my health; I may say I had no faith in it at first, but the result was such a.thorough cure that I consider it my duty to acknor* ledge, unsolicited, its curative powers.—l am, Sir, faithfully yours, W. Fabqtthab, Master Mariner, Ponsonby.—To H. A. H. Kitchens, Esq. Ihe Proprietor would here intimate that £1.000 will be forfeited to any Charitable Instituticn if the good done by his Medicine has been over estimated* The Proprietor is prepared to meet on a public platform any persons wbf^diepute the veracity of testimonials, and he will undertake to prove the genuineness of the cures effected. He is aleo willing to meet in public the medical gentlemen who have attended the patient! and have pronounced them incurable, and answer questions put relative to the facts of the oases quoted. Medical men's names'have, from motives of consideration, been excluded from all testimonials, but then pereonal acknowledement would add increased brilliancy to the ia<r;e of the medicine. Mr Aiex. EAGiETOsr, Hairdresser, of Queen Btreet, Auckland, suffered with » paralysed arm, with every indication of the disease spreading through the body. The doctors prop nounced the case hopeless', and friends believed his end was drawing near, when he. was induced to give Hitchens's Blood Restorer a trial, the result being an immediate change for the better; and on continuing to take the medicine, be was completely restored to health, and strength. , Mr D. B. Chibbolm, Agent for Mr Hitchehß.—Dear Sir,—lt is with heartfelt thanks I am able to endorse'the sterling qualities of Mr Hitchens's invaluable Blood Bestorer. Being induced by Mr Dieber, who epoke in eulogistic forms of it's merits, to place my wife (who was .suffering very acutely with Rheumatic Fever) under its treatment, I am very happy to state the medicine has acted' quite magically. After a few 'doses pain entirely ceased, and she ' is making rapid progress, and is now enabled to resume'her household duties. ' Acting so beneficially, I would not be without such a valuable remedy, and should impress, upon these who are similarly suffering not to. overlook this specific, which is inestimable.—Believe me, yours very sincerely, THOMAS BBOWN, Brittania Heights, Nelson. . Maraiti (near Ho wick), Auckland, 17th August, 1882. ■ - To H. A. H. Hitcbees.—Sir,—l .bad been for five years suffering from an ulcerated leg, and after being twice under treatment in (be Auckland Hospital, without any improve* menti I was induced to give your blood restorer a trial; and am proud to say after four bottles and the use of your Ointment, J became quite well. Please accept my warmest thanks, and . give this what publicity you wieh, that others may benefit thereby.—Youra, most respectfully, - CHARLES MORGAN, Maraiti. Sheridan street, off Wellington Btreet, Auckland, Dec. 1,1882. Mb Hitoheks.—Dear Sir, —As you have asked me to describe my*state at the time Mr McMillan recommended mo lo ueo your Blood Bestorer, and the effecL it had on me, I will simply say that whether it was Lumbago, Sciatica, or Paralysis that made me so helpless, I. do hot know ; but, at any rate, I was unable to stand for cine' months, and had to be lifted like a baby, and my tasto was entirely gone. Dr said I had an affection of the, spine, and that I should never have the use of my limbs Bgain. He brought 1 another medical man to see me, and" I was'told that J would probably live 6nU/ a short time, and it was no use of their, holding out false hopes. I thanked them, and felt as they did. Mr McMillan, living opposite, inquired what was the matter/and my husband told him. He at once said, "let her takei Mr Hitch'en'6 Blood Bestorer, for I believe that will put her all right." I did bo, and after using the third bottle in the third week, I began to feel a change, and a tingling sensation in my limbs. Every subsequent bottle seemed to be doing me more gocd. The result is tha', after using eight bottles, lam now quite well, do'my own washing, and all the housework, and feel quite as well v-.s when I first came to Sew Zealand'five years ago. I am always happy to tell people the good you did me,- for lam sure I should not now be well and hearty, but most likely in my grave, if I had not put myself in your hands, —lam, dear sir, yours faithfully, FLORA NICOL.
