Information with regard to Native affairs, .from a reliable source, says that Te Whiti's influence is steadily increasing, and thata native resident about Auckland, long looked "upon as being Europeanised* is contributing large sums of money to Te Whiti, and submitting to his instructions.
Col* Lyon proceeds to the Thames today to inspect the volunteers.
