The loss in Owen and Graham's fire is now estimated at £30,000. The insurances are: —Stock: New Zealand, £3000; Hanseatic, £1500; London and Lancashire, £1000; Hamburg, £1500; Victoria, £2000; Firo Association, £25G0; Union, £1CCO; Standard, £1000; Norwich Union £4000; Northern/ £3000; National, £3000 ; Sun, £2500 ; London; Liverpool, and Globe. £3CCO; United, £1500 -South British, £2000; Colonial, £20C0; Manchester, £1000; Mercantile Union, £20C0; Imperial,£3ooo; total. £43.500. Building: New Zealand, £2000; Norwich Union, £1000.

The fire at Owen and Graham's, seems to have been smouldering for many hours, for, upon the doors being opened at 7.30 this morning, the whole place burst into
flames.
