THE LITTLE FIVE YEAR OLD A MATCH FOR THE BARBER.

Our friend Wilkins has a little fiff-yetr old daughter who baa vanquished one of Lowell's most skilled tonsorial 'artists. She was" taken down to have her hair cut the other day, and opened fire npon the officiating barber with his own ammunition id the manner following, to wit:— . "Oo pittj well todayP" "Yes, little girl, I'mpreetj well." "Oo mamma well ?" „ L " Yes, my mother's preety well." (Snip.) > !tOo papa well?" 11 Yes, pretty well." (Snip, snip.) 11 Oo dress y»urself ?" " Oh, yes, I dress myself." (Snip.) " Oo wash do own face ?', "Eh ! Oh, yes, of coime." (Gouge;) " Oo fix oo own bair ?' "Yes, yes.-' (Snip, snip, snip — rapidly.) "Oo sew Sundays ?" " Why, no, I don't sew Sundays." (PaHSff.) " Oo sit right down and read ?" " Yes." (Snip, snip, sn''p—nerToo6ly.) " Can oo read?" " Yes."
