Medical ' - — FIRST PRIZE A.A. ah» P.A. EXHIBITION, 1883.— £1,000 EEWAED-Caution. Ask for Kitchens's Blood Restorer, THE GREAT NEW ZEALAND REMEDY FOR CLEANSING, PURIFYING, AND INVIGORATING THE BLOOD. .rp.HE Proprietor, in.explaining why he has not for some time pushed the enle of the above,; JL v.ould state that he received such a eeriouti check by the disastrous fire which destroyed costly appliances and a magnificent stock of prepared herbs (recently replaced), ar/d he bus not therefore been in a position to come before the public. He has not been abie tp satisfy all the local and foreign demands, and was unable to adn inistcr es extensively as he could have desired to the wants of a suffering world. MR KITCHENS ia now happy to state that he is once again in a position to supply this beaith-gifing Medicine, which hew convinced will, •' with the blessing of God," cure almost any disorder, owing to its irresistible yet gentle operation. In coming before the public and planting his standard once more on the ramparts of the great enemy of mankind—i.e., eickness —he trusts that an overruling Providence will bless his future efforts to mitigate the physical woes of man. In this evening's Star appear a few of the hundreds of testimonials received by Mr Hitchens, one of which ia from one of Auckland's bc6t known citizens. It requires no further comment than to say that his illness was of a most severe type, baffling the skill of medical men, while other infallible remedies were tried without the slightest) change for the bettor. Here is what Captain Fakquhab saye of ftITOHKNS' BLOOD RESTORER:—• : , Ancklan'd, October 15, 1883.—Doar Sir, —For twelve months I suffered severely trotn sciatica, and tried various remedies, without avail, and as a last resource I was recommended to give your Blood Restorer a trial, which I did, and I have much pleasure in testifying that after taking ifc for three.months I completely recovered ivy health. I any say I had no faith ie it at first, but the rebult was ssuch a thorough cure that 1 cos-iiier it my duty to acknowledge, unsolicited, its curative powers. —I am, Sir, faithfully yours, W. FaBQTJHAB, Matte Mariner, Ponsonby.—To H. A. H. Hitchens, Esq. The Proprietor would here intimate that £1,000 will be forfeited to any Charitable Institution if the good done by his Medicine has been over estimated. The Proprietor is prepared to meet on a public platform any persons wbr dispute the veracity of testimonials, and he will undertake to prove the'genuinenees of the cures effected. He is also willing to meet in public the medical gentlemen who have attp'r.ded the patient! and have pronounced them incurable, and answer questions put relative to the facts of the oases quoted. Medical men's names have, from motives of consideration, been excluded from all testimonials, but then personal acknowledgment would add increased brilliancy to the fa iie of the medicine. — ' ' Mr AtEX. Eagkbtok, Hairdresser, of Queen street, Auckland, suffered with t> paralysed arm, with every indication of the disease spreading through the body. The doctors pro* nounced the cape hopeless, and friends believtd his end was drawing near, when he was induced to give Hitchene'a Blood Restorer a trial, the result being an immediate change for the better ; and on continuing to take the medicine, he was completely restored to health and strength. Mr D. R. Chishol/M, Agent for Mr Hitohehs. —Dear Sir, —It is with heartfelt thanks I am able to endorse the sterling qualities of Mr Jlitchens'a invaluable Blood Restorer. Being induced by Mr Dieber, who spoke in eulogistic farms of its merits, to place my wife (who was suffering very acutely with Rheumatic Fever) under its treatment, I am very happy to state the medicine has acted quite magically. After a few doses pain entirely ceased, and the is making rapid progress, and is now enabled to resume her household duties. Acting so beneficially, I would not be without such a valuable remedy, and should impress upon these who are similarly suffering not to overlook this specific, which is inestimable.—Believe me,yours very eincerely, THOMAS BROWN, Brittania Heights, Nelson. Maraiti (near Howick), Auckland, 17th August, 1882. : To H. A. H. HITCBEUS.—Sir,—I had been for five years suffering from an ulcerated leg, and after being twice under treatment in the Auckland Hospital, without any improvement, I was induced to give your blood restorer a-trial, and am proud to say after four bottles and the use of jour Ointment, I became quite well. Please accept my warmest toanki, and give? this what publicity you wish, that others may benefit thereby.—Yours, moat respectfully, CHARLES MORGAN, Maraiti. : Sheridan street, off Wellington street, Auckland, Dec. 1,1882. Mb Hitchbns. —Doar Sir, —As you have asked me to describe my state at the time Mr McMillan recommended me to use your Blood Restorer, and the effect it had on me, I will simply say that whether it was Lumbago, Sciatica, or Paralysis that made me so helpless, I do not know; but, at any rate, I waß unable to stand for nine months, and had to be lifted like a baby;, and my taste wes entirely gone. Dr ————- said I had an affection of the spine, and that I should never have the use of my limbs again. He brought another medical man to see me, and I was told that I would probably live only a short time, and it was no use of their holding out false hopes. I thanked them, and felt as they did. Mr McMillan, living opposite, inquired what was the matter, and my husband told him. He at" once said, "Let her take Mr Hitchen's Blood Restorer, for I believe that will put her all right." I did so, and after using the third bottle in the third week, I began to feel a change, and a tingling sensation in my limbs. Every subsequent bottle seemed to be doing me more good. The result is that after using eight bottle§, lam now quite well, do my own washing, and all the housework, and feel quite as well as when I first came to New Zealand fire yean ago. I am always happy to tell people the good you did me, for lam sure I should not now be well and hearty, but most likely in my grave, if I had not put myeelf in your hands. —I am, dear sir, yours faithfully, FLORA NICOL. Witness—HENßY HARTNOLL, Nelson street, I have much pleasure in testifying to the perfect accuracy of the above statement.—N. MoMILLAN, Vulcan Lane, Auckland. H. A» H.
